- By MarimJust thought I'd pop on and give a positive glucose test experience. I did my 2 hour fasting one this morning. And after reading so many horror stories I was so scared. I have major phobia of throwing up and pretty much everyone told me it makes you want to throw up and is awful. In my experience23

I was hoping to last until the last day of May (due late June) but as the weeks progress im a little less certain. I had a horrific breastfeeding experience with my first. I suffered from D-MER, the whole experience was traumatising and it severely affected my bond with my son. I dreaded him waking up or crying for a feed and it undoubtedly contributed towards my postpartum depression / postpartum anxiety. It’ll be great for post-birth too, to help hold in that empty, saggy belly for the first little while. Just thought I’d post in case anyone is in30Advertisement | page continues below

Hey mummas! I went for my test this morning and failed miserably. Not because I have diabetes but because I couldn't stomach it. I didn't even make it to the first blood draw unfortunately. There is no way I'll be able to do this test because the fasting portion mixed with liquids makes me immedia140 - By Giraffe2019gIs anybody just feeling super uncomfortable already? Putting aside the ongoing nausea/vomiting (yeah, I’m one of those lucky ones), horrific reflux, fatigue, cramps, stuffed nose etc., I am just so stretched and bulbous already. I thought that since my last pregnancy was twins that this would be a b21
- By Giraffe2019gZero stars. This test sucks. One of the pathologists and I were having a good rant about how we can put men on mars, but we can’t make the glucose drink not taste disgusting. I took an ondansetron when I got up, and I still nearly threw up in the testing room. Finally eating but spilled my orange ju73
- By Jessie_EmjHas anyone ever had these? My midwife mentioned they might be a good pain relief option this time around (it’s still 18 weeks + away 🤪) I’ve had 3x posterior back labours and they were hard to cope with 🙁 Interested to hear experiences, if you’ve received sterile water injections during labour….70

- By MrsLJ123mHi all, This will be my third bub and I am really anxious about being away from my other kids while in hospital. I was like this with my last baby too and discharged myself before I was ready (c section) because I missed them so much. I don't really know what I'm asking but need to share my thoughts40
- By Marie2441mI’m currently 23 weeks and these last few days have been experiencing a very sore abdomen (above my belly button, just off to the left). It mainly hurts if I touch it (even touching it gently) and if I’m lifting my toddler and trying to carry him on my front. Is this likely just muscle / ligament pa70
- By BubbaK1bAm I reading this correctly… just need to confirm it is saying what I think it is. 1. So in Aus we can get 22 weeks of government parental leave. 2. “Rules if you’re working” - I can return to work after using all my own work related leave once bub is 9 months old and work 3 days a week getting paid10
- By TristaanpiercetHey! Looking for some recommendations on baby rockers/swings and baby bouncers. Also nappy bags that are big enough to two kids! Thanks ☺️20
- By AbbeyNicoleaThis is my 3rd bubba, but first winter baby. My other 2 girls were summer bubs. Does anyone know if the hospitals are heated in winter time? Trying to get my head wrapped around what I need for hospital but not sure whether to pack like it’ll be a cold hospital or warm haha Thanks!30
- By MrsLJ123mHi all, had my 20 week scan and have low lying placenta. I have another scan booked at 32 weeks to check it out. Anyone else had this in past pregnancies and it was all ok? My OB didn't seem worried but I am!30
- By LaSilHi Mummas, I am 22 weeks 5 days today. Last few days I couldn’t sleep on my left side and right side due to pain from my upper thighs to toe on both legs. Urge to change position due to this weird feeling in the veins and muscles of both legs. Not sure if it’s Rest legs syndrome or something else.20
- By Quig5qDoes anyone have any recommendations for a good pregnancy pillow, the type that supports your tummy and stops you sleeping on your back? I never sleep on my back normally, apparently only when pregnant 😂90
