Family holidays

My family and I just got back from Japan and we had such a good time, the travel bug has bitten us and we want to plan our next holiday. It may be in a year or a couple years time but it would be great to have something to look forward to. Where is the best holiday destination you’ve been with kids

I am looking at accommodation for the holidays. Our family is one over the max room occupancy. Our toddler would just bed share with us.  It's a large-ish hotel so doubt anyone would notice.  Is this a di*k move?  Do you do this / done it before?
