Breastfeeding while expecting 2nd bub

Hey all Did anyone else breastfeed their first bub while pregnant with their second. Im 5 weeks and 2 days today and have been told its safe. Im planning on weaning baby around 12 months, so in January. Im a little nervous it can harm the unborn baby if i continue to breastfeed?

It's really common and quite safe. I would call the ABA line. It's free breastfeeding support. Your milk might naturally drop off at some point in your pregnancy which might help with the weaning too. 1800 686 268

Hey lovely, I’m second time mama and I’m still BF my first. I have heaps of other mum friends who also did the same so I know it’s completely safe. Some of the mums said their milk supply dropped and that’s how they weaned bubba off and some continued all the way through and now BF both babes. I’m a STAHM and love BF so will just see what happens with my first if he weans off or want to continue I’m happy either way. I hope this helps xx
