Hi my baby is 2 weeks and her feeding way is not understandable my midwife said fed her after every 2-3 hours she is on breastfeeding but she fed after every hour she sucks my breast only for 5-7 minutes and stop sucking she slepts sometimes or she awake and didn’t suck i force my nipple in her mouth but she cant and sometimes she sucks for 10 minutes i put her on cot for sleeo she awake and demad more milk i fed her again and she keep doing it for 4-5 hours i dnt know she is hungry or not i topup her formula milk after breastmilk she just took 10 ml . Is it normal???? I cant manage it

She could be cluster feeding which means bub will eat pretty much all the time for few weeks to establish your supply. In this age you might need to get comfy with phone and/or TV, snacks and loads of water and just hold bub and feed, feed, feed. In few weeks bub will stretch feeds and sleeps out but she is too small yet and her belly is tiny.
