Vtech Video Baby Monitor BM5150-BEARN

I have to start with the monitor I use at home! We’ve been using it for 18 months, and so far, so good. The battery life is good, and the range seems to be good for a single-storey house. The image is clear for both day and night, and the screen is super responsive to noise.

Vtech Video Baby Monitor BM3800N

Another Vtech monitor that is highly rated for its overall performance. Parents say the ability to pan and tilt the camera view is particularly handy if your little one moves around a lot during the night. It has a mini starlight projector and lullabies.
Owlet - Smart Sock 3 Baby Monitor

The Owlet Smart Sock Monitor is in the higher price range, but for good reason. It has a monitoring system that allows you to track your baby’s oxygen and heart rate and view the readings in real-time with the Owlet App. It could be a particularly useful monitor for babies with health issues. If baby’s readings leave the pre-set ‘safe’ zones, the Smart Sock immediately notifies you that your baby needs your attention. 16-hour battery life and quick, wireless charging – fully charging in just 90 minutes.

KAWA Video Baby Monitor

The KAWA monitor operates without WIFI, which is great if you’d rather have a monitor that doesn’t connect to your home network. It features two-way talk, real-time temperature monitoring, white noise and six lullabies, and connects reliably within a 1000ft range. You can add up to four cameras with a split screen display so you can keep an eye on up to four rooms at the same time.
